| Netflix will rollout “Shuffle Play” to subscribers dealing with decision fatigue worldwide later this year. We just told you we predict streaming overload solutions will be huge this year, and now Netflix is launching a function to give viewers “the ability to choose to instantly watch a title chosen just for them versus browse.” Subscribers will be able to click the shuffle button to have a “personalized algorithm” play the content Netflix thinks they will enjoy. Basically, instead of navigating the platform’s enormous menu of entertainment, Netflix will use what they know about the viewer to choose for them. While the new feature began testing last year, it’s expected to make a worldwide rollout later this year. (TechCrunch) |
