Fisher-Price is launching baby toys inspired by the ‘80s and ‘90s to reach Millennial parents. Fisher-Price is the latest company to stir nostalgia in Millennial parents, with their new Laugh & Learn toy line tapping into the ‘80s and ‘90s in hopes of helping parents “relive their childhood memories” while playing with their children. The collection includes a Busy Boombox, which has music lessons for babies, a Puppy’s Mixtape that looks like a cassette tape and recites the alphabet, numbers, and colors via songs, and a hand-held Lil’ Gamer “console” that features “nostalgic music.” According to one Fisher-Price executive, they’re always looking for ways “to create playful connections between children and the grown-ups in their lives.” (USA Today)
