Gen Z is the most stressed out during the pandemic. Gen Z’s milestones and overall future have been impacted by COVID and it’s heavily affecting their mental health. According to an APA survey, teens have reported the “highest levels of stress” out of all age groups, with half of respondents saying that they can’t imagine planning for the future. Many factors play a part in contributing to their stress including lockdowns, isolation, the failing economy, and structural racism. YPulse’s exclusive COVID research found that 39% of 13-18-year-olds say their mental health has been negatively impacted by the pandemic. (HuffPost) |
