TikTokers have started hiring fashion stylists to dress them for videos. At the beginning of the pandemic, stylist Tabitha Sanchez was struggling to find work, and saw TikTok as a new opportunity. She reached out to influencers on the platform and landed Olivia Ponton, who has 4.2 million followers, as her first client.. Ponton introduced Sanchez to other influencers from popular creator collectives—like the D’Amelio sisters, Addison Rae, Chase Hudson, Avani Gregg, and Noah Beck. As TikTok creators experiment with fame outside of the app, hiring stylists is a “secret weapon” to help them look more appealing. (Fashionista)
