Young people’s mental health is being significantly impacted by COVID-19 fears. According to public health officials, the COVID crisis is already affecting children and young adults’ mental health thanks to factors like fears of losing loved ones, job loss, and loneliness. Experts are predicting that “widespread emotional distress” will grow even more as the pandemic continues.
