While the alcohol industry is booming during the pandemic, because most young people are financially cautious during the crisis, they’re opting to buy less expensive drinks—like cheap wine. It’s changed “how” people drink as well. Stigma around “drinking alone” has lessened during this time, but young consumers haven’t stopped experimenting and finding creative ways to drink with others.
