Burger King is advertising a “quarantine Whopper” consumers can make at home. In France, all of the chain’s locations are closed due to strict social distancing measures. As a way to keep messaging in line with the global health crisis and keep their customers engaged, the brand has released ads that show various store-bought ingredients quarantined fans can use to replicate a Whopper in the comfort of their own homes. Burger King is one of the brands who boosted their Yscore with young consumers in the last year—and actively showing them how they care and how they’re navigating the pandemic will likely maintain those points.
