Young people are losing their religion—and they’re not coming back. The American Enterprise Institute reports that 18-to-34-year-olds are more likely than older generations to say they no longer affiliate with the religion they grew up with, that they were not raised with any religion, and to be married to a spouse who is not religious. YPulse’s own research on young people’s complex relationship with religion shows that 45% believe organized religion is a thing of the past. (FiveThirtyEight, American Enterprise Institute)
