Gen Z is taking over live TV moments to call attention to climate change. YPulse has found that climate change is the biggest problem Gen Z and Millennials believe they face. Now they’re using live TV to call for action on the issue. Billie Eilish wore a “No Music on a Dead Planet” t-shirt at the 2019 AMAs, performing in front of a burning backdrop. The same weekend, a group of college students raided the field during a Harvard-Yale football game with a “Climate Injustice” protest. Both moments were spread on social media, as this generation pairs live TV and viral content. (TIME)
