Burger King is taking the plastic toys out of its U.K. kids’ meals. The move appeals to sustainably-minded Gen Z & Millennials, especially the kids who went viral for demanding exactly what Burger King is now doing with their “Meltdown” campaign. In addition to ridding their chain of 320 tons of plastic annually with the mass toy removal, they’re letting customers bring in old toys (that don’t have to be from Burger King) to exchange them for a junior meal when they buy any adult entrée.
