Face-swapping app Zao is going viral—but users are raising privacy red flags.The app allows users to swap their faces into famous scenes from TV shows and movies in a matter of seconds. Videos under the hashtag #zao have over eight million views on popular Chinese platform Weibo, but another of the country’s top platforms WeChat banned Zao content altogether, citing privacy concerns. People also flooded Zao’s App Store reviews to call out a lax privacy policy and the dangers of uploading your face to third-party apps. (Mashable)
