Adidas tapped the Peloton craze, launching an apparel line with the at-home workout phenom. Athleisure is still thriving during the pandemic, and Adidas and Peloton are getting into the market with a collaboration that “takes full advantage of the pandemic-powered wave of interest in activewear and home-based workouts.” Their new “adidas x Peloton SS21” 11-piece apparel collection is designed by Peloton instructors and features tanks, tights, shorts, hoodies, t-shirts, crewnecks, sports bras, and joggers—sold on both adidas.com and apparel.onepeloton.com as well as select Adidas retailers and Peloton showrooms starting this week. They will also be debuting a series of new on-demand classes on the Peloton Bike, Bike+, and the Peloton App to coincide with the clothing drop. YPulse’s health and fitness report found that 36% of 13-39-year-olds who have been regularly working out have used at-home workout equipment. (Retail Dive)
