Young consumers will keep streaming TV and go to movies and concerts less after quarantines are lifted. It’s no secret that TV streaming has gotten a major boost, and according to a poll by E-Poll Market Research, viewers expect to keep watching TV and streaming services more even after the crisis is over. The survey found that 21% of respondents said they will continue “watching TV shows, movies, streamed programming” more even when “things return to normal,” suggesting that the “high-water mark for TV viewing could be the new baseline.” The survey also found that consumers are wary of movie theaters, concerts, sporting events, and theme parks. YPulse found that the majority of Gen Z and Millennials are actually excited to attend large events again, but with caution. (Variety)
