Nintendo was slow to jump into mobile games, but now they’ve reached $1 billion in revenue. The company’s mobile games revenue has broken $1 billion across Apple’s App Store and the Google Play Store with 452 million downloads globally. Their biggest mobile-money-maker by far is Fire Emblem Heroes at $656 million (61% of Nintendo’s mobile revenue), followed by Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, and Dragalia Lost. In-app purchases are helping to drive earnings. YPulse’s State of Gaming survey found that 63% of 13-to-36-year-olds are playing mobile games weekly. (Digital Trends)
