As favorite shows are pulled from streaming services, Millennials are turning to DVDs and VPNs to get their comfort TV fixes. When it was announced that the Millennial and Gen Z-favorite show Friends was leaving Netflix for HBO Max, it sent many fans into a frenzy. With the show no longer easily accessible (and many not wanting to pay extra for the new streaming service) some have resorted to digging up old DVDs, DVRs, and VCRs. Desperate fans who still want to stream have even set up virtual private networks to digitally cross national borders, just to watch their favorite show. (WSJ)
