Starbucks is the latest chain to jump on the energy drink bandwagon.

Jun 28 2024

Starbucks is the latest chain to jump on the energy drink bandwagon. It’s no secret that young people have a persistent thirst for non-alcoholic drinks, and Starbucks’ new iced energy drinks are the latest in the new bev trend. The drinks contain a significant amount of caffeine, ranging from 180 to 205 milligrams per serving. And despite warning labels stating that energy drinks are not intended for under-18-year-olds, there has been instances where these products have been popular among teens. (Gen Z does love their Starbies, after all.) Dunkin’ Donuts and Dutch Bros. have also recently added energy drinks to their own menus amidst the growing demand for these products among young consumers. (Fast Company)

📊 YPulse data: 27% of 13-39-year-olds drink energy drinks during the week
