Health and Fitness Report

Gen Z and Millennials have expanded the definition of wellness to include more than nutrition and fitness. These gens believe everything from skincare to work-life balance contributes to their health (and they’re not wrong!). With this holistic view on health, young people are shifting away from restrictive diets to more flexible daily routines that prioritize self-care and fitness that feels good—not just working out for weight loss. Some headlines are even saying Gen Z is driving an increase in gym check-ins this year—but is it true or just click bait?

In this year’s Health and Fitness report, YPulse shares insights on why young people are motivated to workout, the type of diet they have, and what demographic is looking to try the next big wellness trends.
