A group of Irish tweens went viral for their rap song—and some think it’s going to be the song of the summer. A dozen kids 9-12-years-old from the small town of Knocknaheeny recently uploaded an upbeat rap song on YouTube named “The Spark.” In just a few days, the video racked up 284K views on the platform and another 8.9M views on X. Viewers expressed their excitement about the rap song on socials, with comments like “Send them to Eurovision please” or “Put this on Spotify NOW!!!” The song was produced by a local youth rap initiative, The Kabin Studio, which helps teens and teenagers to express themselves through music.
