Instagram is aiming to make Stories more engaging for small creators.

Instagram is aiming to make Stories more engaging for small creators. Nano-creators have been saying they’re not getting the most of the app’s algorithm, so it’s offering more options to get interaction. With the newest “Reveal” feature, users can share a hidden Story that is not visible unless followers send a direct message to the creator. In addition, the platform is expanding on its existing “Add yours” sticker by introducing an “Add Yours Music” option, providing more opportunities for viral Story challenges and trends. A virtual polaroid feature called “Frames” will also be added for posting memories, alongside “Cutouts” which allow users to transform a portion of any video or photo in their camera roll into a personalized sticker (just like they can in Apple’s Photos app).
