SHEIN just bought Missguided. Last year, SHEIN hit the milestone of £1B in sales in the U.K., and now the fast fashion giant wants to expand further in the country. To do so, SHEIN took over Missguided, an ultra-fast (and ultra-cheap) fashion brand that started over a decade ago in Manchester and came to fame for its “one pound bikini”—yes, £1. SHEIN intends to reinvigorate the brand, which faced financial troubles not long ago, by selling Missguided products on its websites. YPulse’s data from WE Shopping and Retail report shows SHEIN is British Gen Z’s third favorite place to shop. (BBC)
