Virtual reality schools are becoming the next innovative option for education.

Virtual reality schools are becoming the next innovative option for education.Optima Academy Online is an all-virtual school that was launched last year by Erika Donalds, a conservative education activist, and has enrolled over 170 full-time students in Florida. As part of the education program, students in third grade and up wear VR headsets for 30-40 minutes at length, for four or five sessions a day (with breaks in between to avoid “visual fatigue”) while younger students use Microsoft Teams and Canvas. YPulse data shows that VR headsets are not a popular household item for young people just yet, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t open to experiences with them.
