Travel Report

The majority of Gen Z and Millennials are gearing up for travel this year—and more than last year. But the most popular social media (or TV) destinations are not their only interests. In fact, many young people are looking for something more unique from their travel these days, whether that’s picking a city based on an event, a cool Airbnb with a 5-star view, or going to a “dupe” spot. (Which, naturally, they’ll also find on social media.) Hopefully the travel industry’s current woes (i.e. plane issues and delivery delays) won’t impact young people’s plans too much, though. Either way, we know they’ll find a way to getaway this year for some much-needed R & R.

In this year’s Travel report, YPulse provides insights on young consumers travel motivations, how many trips they plan to take this year, and the types of trips they’re setting their sights on.

  • How many Gen Z and Millennials are interested in traveling this year and why
  • Travel trends young consumers are fueling—like dupe travel, event-cations, and solo travel
  • What makes young people want to stay at a specific accommodation
