Gen Z and Millennials have the ability to consume media wherever they go, and their smartphones are a top screen for watching video content. Their media consumption is spread across all devices, with laptops, phones and streaming devices among the top used. There’s quite a gap between the top streaming platforms and the competition, and the preferences differ between the two generations. Their genre preferences are directly aligned with what we’ve found to be their favorite tv shows and movies, and are a major aspect that these generations have in common.
