Gen Z is craving major change in the government.

Jul 30 2026

Gen Z is craving major change in the government. According to a new study, 62% of 18-29-year-olds say the design and structure of America’s government need significant changes, regardless of which party is elected to lead. Meanwhile, 58% said the party they align with needs to dramatically change, on both sides of the aisle. Gen Z has grown up through tension and volatility in politics, which may be behind their sense of disillusionment. Still, while 39% of Gen Z respondents said the opposing political party is “evil” or “less than human,” that’s less than Millennials (44%) and Baby Boomers (61%). (The Hill)
