A new free online tool can identify AI-generated music on Spotify, Apple Music, and more. Even though AI-generated music has infiltrated streaming and social media platforms, big music streamers haven’t launched AI music detection tools yet for those who want to weed it out. That’s where Deezer’s new AI music detection tool comes in. Users can scan their playlists on 20 of the most popular streaming services to see if any of the songs have been generated with AI. Young people have a complicated relationship with AI—and replacing human creativity is where they’re less interested in seeing it. YPulse’s 2025 Music report shows that while AI music did gain popularity over the last year, those tracks were mostly related to online jokes and memes more so than legit favorites. (TechCrunch)
