Tennis is betting big on TikTok to target Gen Z. The Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) recently expanded its partnership with the platform. As part of the deal, TikTok is giving more tournament hosts access to their growth tools, while also adding names to its “On Tour With” creator program, which gives creators behind-the-scenes access to events and players. The move is aimed at reaching young, casual fans who may not follow the sport traditionally. Both ATP and TikTok have been making advances over the past few months toward making this goal a reality. Tennis-related content on TikTok grew by more than 25% in 2025, the number of top-ranked men’s players using the platform has nearly doubled, and ATP’s own TikTok following has surged from under 600K to more than 830K in less than a year.
