Some Millennial men are spending big money on their looks as they age.

May 13 2026

Some Millennial men are spending big money on their looks as they age. The conversation around more extreme male beauty trends has gone mainstream thanks in part to young “looksmaxxing” influencers like Braden Peters, better known online as “Clavicular.” The value of the men’s personal care industry has ballooned to $90B globally and is only continuing to grow, especially with 30-45-year-old men. (Not just the young adult males going viral.) But they’re not only paying hundreds or thousands of dollars to look good; some are also focusing on their “healthspan” to stay healthy as they age. This includes pricey biomarker testing, which inspects a person’s metabolism and hormones to predict potential age-related health issues. There’s also a “peptide boom” to lessen signs of aging—even though some of the long-term effects of synthetic peptides are unknown and untested. (Moneywise)
