Expedia is launching a campaign with Gen Z-fave streamer IShowSpeed. IShowSpeed has more than 76M followers across socials and is known for his comedic personality and viral stunts, and YPulse data shows he’s one of Gen Z’s favorite creators. The global partnership centers on a 12-hour livestream of him island-hopping through the Caribbean, aimed at making young people feel like they’re part of the trip. There’s also a website dedicated to the collab called “Exspeedia” where fans can watch behind-the-scenes content, book vacations, enter to win prizes, and vote on where IShowSpeed should travel next. Before the launch, Expedia put out a six-second teaser for the partnership which amassed 12M views on YouTube—likely foreshadowing attention for the full thing. (Marketing Dive)
