Gen Z’s new favorite lyricist just landed a beauty deal. In her debut album Who’s the Clown, Audrey Hobert sings candidly about acne, Amazon Basics, Pilates, and the kind of everyday anxieties that feel pulled straight from Gen Z’s group chats. Her relatable lyrics helped cement the 26-year-old as a Gen Z favorite. But it also caught the attention of clean beauty brand Ilia. This week, Ilia released a $52 limited-edition makeup set curated by Hobert, plus a branded tote featuring Hobert’s signature. To promote the drop, Hobert filmed a GRWM-style video, showing her applying her new gloss before a songwriting session—blending beauty with the same energy fans love her for. The collab follows Ilia’s recent musician-led partnerships with Clairo and Solange, and according to the brand, Clairo’s edit sold out, with more than 80% of customers new to the brand. (Glossy)
