Young Brits are feeling the weight of economic uncertainty as they look at their career. New research from the King’s Trust shows deep anxiety among teens and young adults in the U.K. about entering the workforce. Data shows 73% of 16-25-year-olds are anxious about their career prospects, and more than a quarter believe they’re going to fail in life. Economic instability, limited job opportunities, and AI are only adding to the pressure and shaping this generation’s outlook. Many respondents say they feel unprepared for employment, and nearly two thirds (64%) think most entry-level roles are insecure.
