Rhone is the latest brand getting into resale apps.The performance apparel brand just launched reRhone, offering inventory from select customer returns that have been verified to meet quality standards, spanning men’s and women’s pieces. And the brand plans to expand product selection later this year as the program grows. They join a growing number of brands taking control of their secondhand appeal—rather than letting young people buy discount products at thrift stores or online marketplaces, they can get them directly from the label. Plus, young consumers increasingly expect brands to go beyond messaging and build sustainability directly into how they sell, and eliminating waste from returns or closet clean-outs is a clear way.
