For the 2026 Winter Olympics, brands will be moving at content creator speed.

For the 2026 Winter Olympics, brands will be moving at content creator speed. For the first time, the Olympic Committee is making competition footage available to sponsors in real time, letting brands like Nike and Ralph Lauren instantly splice Olympic moments into digital content as they happen. It’s a shift that acknowledges how young viewers experience the Games now—through athletes’ real-time posts and creator-curated highlights, not just live TV. YPulse reported on the infamous fandom around athlete-creators during the Paris Olympics, and Milano Cortina is planned to encourage more of these micro-communities. NBC is leaning into creator-led content, too, with 25 influencers who will report on the ground to tell the story of the Games through their eyes. (AdAge)
