Tiffins are going viral in the U.K. Tiffins, also called dabbas, are layered steel containers for takeout / delivery food traditionally filled with a variety of dishes and have historical roots in India. Thanks to “Tiffin Lady” British influencer Lily Baria, who recently relocated to India, tiffins are having a moment on TikTok—just one of her videos racked up 6.4M views. Baria’s content showing her daily lunch has inspired a global audience to seek similar meal experiences. “Tiffintok” is a real hit in London especially, where there’s now a surge in demand for tiffin lunchboxes—they’ve already been spotted in TKMaxx.
