A 27-year-old woman won Cozy Earth’s “bed rot challenge.”

Aug 29 2025

A 27-year-old woman won Cozy Earth’s “bed rot challenge.” Earlier this month, the home goods and luxury loungewear brand Cozy Earth kicked off their second “bed rot challenge” where 10 contestants competed to be the last person in bed for $25K. Set at their corporate office in California, these mainly young adult contestants spent six days participating in different challenges—like “bed rot roulette” where they spun a wheel to pick what weird thing (sand, water, toys, etc.) would be dumped into their bed—all while staying in or on the bed the entire time. The challenge went viral on TikTok, with the video announcing its start gaining over 10M views. It’s become a pseudo-reality TV show with it’s constant updates and hundreds of thousands of followers—just one of the “temptation” challenges alone pulling in over 9M views. With YPulse data showing 61% of 13-39-year-olds spend time “bed rotting,” it’s no surprise that the winner was a 27-year-old woman who said the “amazing challenge changed her life.” (Cozy Earth TikTok)
