You’ve heard of a purse bowl, now Gen Z has a house purse. We know Gen Z loves to rebrand the mundane items and experiences in their lives. Earlier this year, YPulse reported on young women dubbing catch-all dishes by the door “purse bowls,” using them to hold their keys, wallets, lip balms, chargers, and other essentials. Their latest kitschy organization hack? House purses. This time, they’re using plastic shower caddies and large tote bags to carry things one might need around the house—their phone, claw clips, glasses, lighters, nail tools, TV remotes, etc.—all in one bag from room to room. One creator posted her take on the house purse, filling it with chargers, a flashlight, pens, and journals, gaining over 65K views. (Bustle)
