Techno raves are for toddlers now, too. Lenny Pearce is the Australian DJ producing what he calls “toddler techno”—dance remixes of popular children’s songs like “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes” and “Wheels on the Bus.” Pearce got the idea for “baby raves” after hist first daughter was born and kids’ music became a staple in his home. From there, he started making remixes, quickly gained over 2M followers on TikTok, and now has created a “niche space in the touring world.” Currently on a 10-date U.S. tour, Pearce says his shows (which have sold 11K tickets in the U.S.) is “about music, entertainment, unity and including the whole family.” Kids love the music for its fun energy, and parents are able to reminisce on their pre-kid club days with a new family twist.
