One in six European teenagers aren’t happy with their lives.

Oct 16 2024

One in six European teenagers aren’t happy with their lives. The Good Childhood Report’s most recent figures reveal that an average of 16.6% of European 15-year-olds aren’t satisfied with their lives. The Netherlands has the least number of dissatisfied youth (only 6%) while the U.K. is at the bottom of the chart, with a whopping 25% of unhappy 15-year-olds. The report points to “socio-economic inequality” and the cost-of-living crisis as the main reasons why the number of unhappy British teenagers is so high. (Euronews)

📊 YPulse data: 82% of European 13-17-year-olds agree, “I am usually a happy person”
