Gen Z has set fashion opinions, even on sock styles. On social media, Gen Z is pointing out the fact that they can identify a Millennial if they’re wearing ankle socks—a new age-defining style choice no one saw coming. But despite suggestions that ankle socks are losing their appeal, 41% of adults still choose them as their top choice for everyday wear, including 47% of the young gen who choose short socks everyday. However, a close-following 41% of Gen Z adults do favor tall socks like quarter and crew styles, whereas only 23% of Millennials say the same. (YouGov)
