A video game about going viral, is going viral. The new horror game, Content Warning, follows streamers in a world full of monsters—where they’re trying to capture as much content as possible to post for views. And as it’s being played by real-life streamers, it’s super meta. The indie developer team at Landfall makes an April Fool’s Day game every year, but this silly horror combo racked up more than 6M downloads in its first day. In turn, there’s plans to add more ridiculous monsters and map space so players can gather even more viral footage, in and out of the game. (Wired)
