One in ten high school seniors have tried delta-8 products. In contrast to marijuana, there typically no age limitations for purchasing delta-8 products in states where it is permitted for sale. Researchers found in a new study that 11.4% of 12th graders reported using delta-8 THC within the past year, and a total of 30.4% admitted to using it at least once. As the number of users is increasing in recent years, it continues to be a concern among public health officials as “scientists don’t fully understand what effects delta-8 may have on teens.” (CNN)
