Media company Betches is increasing political content ahead of the 2024 election. The co-founders of the brand have noticed more interest in political content since the overturn of Roe v. Wade in 2022. Now, with a primary audience of Gen Z and Millennial women, the multi-media company best known for its Instagram page is looking to fill an accessibility gap in political news. Though a spokesperson acknowledged the brand leans left, it’s the honest and “personality-driven” quality of their content that makes the brand a trusted source, and they intend to cover news on both sides of the aisle in a new podcast, “American Fever Dream.” (Washington Post)
