French Gen Z are increasingly turning to mental health specialists. A recent study in France reveals a 60% increase in consultations with therapists among young adults 18-24-years-old in the past three years, while it’s increased by more than 30% among French teens. This figure can be explained by the fact that Gen Z is way more open about sharing their mental health struggles than previous gens and is actively looking for ways to improve their wellbeing. We know from YPulse’s Mental Health report that three-quarters of young French people want to live in a world where people openly talk about their mental health. (France Info)
