ITV launched a mental health campaign encouraging children to express their feelings and open up to trusted adults in their lives.

Oct 04 2023

ITV launched a mental health campaign encouraging children to express their feelings and open up to trusted adults in their lives. Originally launched in 2019, “Britain Get Talking” is part of the British TV network’s efforts to help British people improve their mental wellbeing. This year, alongside special shows, the TV channel is airing “The Hardest Subject,” a campaign where British children are urging adults to engage in meaningful conversations with them. The campaign also intends every school in the U.K. to assign a special mental health homework task ahead of World Mental Health Day on October 10, aiming to prompt conversations among children about their thoughts, feelings, and any stress or anxiety they’re experiencing. Over four in five young British people appreciate mental health support from brands according to data from YPulse’s WE Mental Health Report. (Ad Age)
