Burger King is looking for another viral moment by remixing their popular Whopper jingle. The fast food company is linking with DJ and producer Steve Aoki to put a spin on the “Whopper, Whopper” jingle that had over 7M Spotify streams following its release last October. This collaboration is in partnership with Paramount Brand Studio leading up to this year’s MTV Video Music Awards (which is sponsored by the chain). Burger King released both an album graphic and accompanying teaser for the song, but the full version will be featured on their Spotify page and on TikTok on September 12. YPulse research shows that as music is a major part of pop culture moments that young consumers care about—especially Gen Z— brands have been increasingly hopping on the jingle remix wave with popular musicians.
