Germany, Italy, and Spain tie in second place for the world’s most powerful passports. The Henley Passport Index grades passports based on travel freedom, and this year’s ranking includes some surprises. Not only was Japan knocked out the first place by Singapore, but three Western European countries are now sitting in second place: Germany, Italy, and Spain.
