Budweiser is leaning into their #BringHomeTheBud campaign leading up to the Women’s World Cup.

Jul 06 2023

Budweiser is leaning into their #BringHomeTheBud campaign leading up to the Women’s World Cup. As the official beer of the FIFA World Cup, Anheuser-Busch InBev’s Budweiser is extending its popular campaign for this summer’s women’s tournament. Piggybacking onto its 2022 release, the campaign will include a film titled The World Is Yours to Take, featuring soccer star Lionel Messi promoting the World Cup. Additionally, Budweiser will sell their Bring Home the Bud cases of beer specially re-packaged for fans of the sport. Not only is this campaign an effort to revitalize the beer brand in the wake of the recent backlash over working with Dylan Mulvaney, but it is also working to promote women’s sports. YPulse research shows that soccer is becoming an increasingly popular sport to watch in the U.S. thanks to the success of the women’s national team in previous World Cups.
