ChatGPT might’ve just found its next competition with the upcoming launch of DeepMind’s chatbot. The Google-owned research lab is making big claims that its artificial intelligence bot will outcompete OpenAI’s model. Named “Gemini,” the bot will take technologies from DeepMind’s other AI bot, AlphaGo, and will reportedly have the capability of planning or solving problems as well as analyzing text. What sets this model apart is that it will have the ability of reinforcement learning, which basically entails the method of classic conditioning, which other AI models are unable to do. However, DeepMind has big shoes to fill to compete with ChatGPT, with YPulse research showing that it’s one of the first things that comes to mind when Gen Z and Millennials think of AI.
