Amaze is releasing a feature that will offer new revenue streams on TikTok. The e-commerce platform which designs software for startups and other businesses will now allow creators to be able to sell products directly to their viewers on TikTok Shop, since the commerce platform is now a part of the app’s shopping feature. And as live stream shopping is slowly increasing in popularity in the U.S. and on the Gen Z-loved social media platform, influencers can sell goods directly through videos and live streams while leaving the financial hassle to Amaze. The ecommerce site’s CEO believes the integration into TikTok is “empowering creators to truly transform the way they monetize their talent.” YPulse research shows social shopping is steadily growing more popular among young consumers, but the trend has been slower to catch on in the U.S. compared to other countries around the world.
