Toys R Us is coming to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. Airports may be the last place Millennial parents look to buy toys for their kids, but the iconic toy store will be setting up shop in Texas. Duty Free America is teaming up with WHP Global, the owner of Toys R Us, to bring the first airport location to life, which just so happens to be one of the top five most crowded airports according to “passenger volume.” The store is on track to open for the 2023 holidays, convenient timing for travelers looking to shop for any young ones in their lives. WHP Global is steadily bringing this kids’ classic toy store back to life—and have “recently increased its footprint by 50% by introducing Toys R Us store-in-stores at all Macy’s locations.” (Retail Dive)
