Many Gen Z are not comfortable telling their boss they’re using AI. A new study in the U.K. revealed over 40% of Gen Z employees are feeling hesitant about informing their employers that they use AI tools for their work. According to the research, it’s the lack of clear guidelines regarding the use of AI in the workplace—especially around the use of the AI chatbot ChatGPT—which makes the younger gen shy about their use of AI. Data from YPulse’s AI Unpacked Trend Report shows that 70% of European Gen Z have used or are interested in using AI chatbots—and one of the top ways they’re using the tech is for help with work and school.
